I have been so excited to share my pictures from my baby girl’s 3rd Birthday Party!! She has loved Lalaloopsy since it first came out! Way before the craze and when there were like only TWO dolls out! I loved it because it had my baby’s name in it! We call her LaLa and I had to get the Jewel Sparkles doll when I saw their name!! So since my baby is a princess always to us and she loves Lalaloopsy and the first doll she recieved was the Jewel Sparkles, I decided to combine it all!
For my daughter’s 3rd birthday she really loved the Lalaloopsy dolls and one of the first ones we purchased for her was Jewel Sparkles. I decided to use this as her theme with a little bit lighter of colors in the pinks and limes. When you walked in you where greeted with a custom made wreath that will later be used for her bedroom door. On the dessert table, for the backdrop, I used two of the large foam boards from Hobby Lobby and hot glued them together with a yard stick from Home Depot so they wouldn’t bend easily. I then added white fabric to the front. From there I used the wider ribbon and buttons to make the backdrop not so plain. The fabric bunting was something I made as well! It’s 4ft long and also available in the shop here! I used pink satin fabric from Hobby Lobby as well for the tablecloth. The desserts consisted of cupcakes displayed on mini cupcake holders and also on the ferris wheel cupcake holder. There were Lalaloopsy doll cookies along with chocolate covered oreos, little sandwiches in cute baggies, gumballs, and chocolate dipped rice krispie treats. The centerpiece was a cake made to mimic the Lalaloopsy dress with a crown for the topper. There were also giant Lalaloopsy cake pops on either side of the cake. Lastly, I wanted to do milk bottles but those things were a little out of my price range for the amount I needed. So I spent a couple of weeks drinking Starbucks and voila! Just let them soak in hot soapy water and the labels come off so easily. I dipped the tops in pink chocolate and pink jimmies!! Of course edible glitter as well! I used washi tape and buttons for the straw flags as well!
I was so lucky to find Fairytale Jubilee for my LaLa’s headpiece and dress! I wanted a Jewel Sparkles dress and she did an amazing job!!
